Incorrect. Your instant defensiveness on the subject clearly states that you know you are fighting a losing battle, but are loathe to admit it.

Are you truly so incapable of taking any responsibility in this? You’re worse than a child. At least children know when to give up and apologise.

Also incorrect. Most children refuse to apologize until forced to do so by and elder - usually a parent. And even then it is insincere and they will, more often then not, do some childish gesture towards those that they are apologizing to when said elder turns their back.

Do you ever grow tired of correcting others?

Because you know you will lose. Your logic is flawed, and your reasoning is terrible.

I beg your pardon. No, because I have long since grown tired ofthe redundancies that come with any and all conversations that I share with you.

Regardless! -pauses, smoothing out the front of her dress and taking a deep breath- I am not having this conversation with you, Sherlock.

“I see..” She merely nodded. “Well, then.. I wish you luck in your dealings with him.”

“It is going to be fun. Thank you. And I wish you the best with yours.”

“Yes, well… Fun is one way to put it, though I’m not sure that is the term I would use..”

“I would use something else but the words cannot describe it.”

“Indeed…”

“Anyway, I should be off. It was nice seeing you again.”

“Always a pleasure, Inspector. Do take care.”

Inspector Lestrade.

“Mrs, Watson. How do you do?”

“I’m doing just fine, thank you and yourself?” She said with a small smile, nodding lightly.

“I am doing well other than investigating on a murder case.”

“There’s a murderer on the loose? How troubling.. Well, I have faith that you and everyone else down at the yard will catch him.”

“I thank you. But this one is very tricky. I am thinking of giving it to Sherlock just to get him off my back.”

“I see..” She merely nodded. “Well, then.. I wish you luck in your dealings with him.”
